The 2023 campaign theme for this year is “Accept. Advocate. Act.” We want our children across the lifespan accepted – and that means systemic change in how children’s mental health is viewed. If you've ever thought about becoming a volunteer advocate, now is the time - BeLEAF is planning a training! We will provide you with all the information and guidance you need to answer our hotline and support survivors at the hospital. No experience is needed, and you WILL make a difference! As SAAM 2023 comes to a close and we pause to reflect on a busy, activity-filled month, we are filled with gratitude for our community - both physical and virtual. Whether you attended an event, made a donation, or shared a social media post, you created ripples. Thank you for helping BeLEAF show support for survivors this April. Your individual actions made our community a little safer and more compassionate for all of us. If you joined us for Take Back the Night last week and painted a rock, here is your proof that they are sealed and delivered out into the world. Thank you for helping us support survivors and raise awareness of sexual assault issues during this year's SAAM. Little things make all the difference!
